Research on insect diapause is being reported, with studies examining the regulatory mechanisms and molecular characteristics of diapause in various species. The termination of pupal diapause in Bactrocera minax and the diapause of Chilo suppressalis are among the topics being explored. It appears that multiple species of insects are being studied to gain insight into the phenotypic and genotypic expressions associated with diapause.
