A rare giant phantom jellyfish and a well-preserved whale skeleton have been spotted off the coast of Argentina. However, it is unclear if this discovery is related to other recent findings of new jellyfish species in different parts of the world. The discovery off Argentina appears to be a separate incident from other reported sightings of various jellyfish species in locations such as Singapore, Brazil, and Venice's lagoon.
