there is consideration of revising the use of antithrombotic therapy for patients with left ventricular assist devices (lvads). the possibility of using less antithrombotic therapy is being explored. the approach to antithrombotic therapy for lvads patients may be changing, with a potential shift towards a more minimal treatment strategy.
