The National Portrait Gallery's "Outwin" exhibit is now on display, featuring artworks from the winners and featured artists of the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition. The exhibit, also known as "The Outwin 2025: American Portraiture Today", showcases a range of portraits that reflect the current state of the nation. The competition and exhibit appear to have been impacted by a shutdown, but are now moving forward, with the exhibit also scheduled to be hosted at other locations, including the Ackland Art Museum at UNC-Chapel Hill.
