Research is revisiting the role of certain cells and molecules in cancer and other conditions, exploring their potential as therapeutic targets. This includes regulatory t cells, t-cell adhesion molecules, and cancer-associated fibroblasts, with studies examining their involvement in cancer, pregnancy disorders, and immune preservation. The goal of this research appears to be the development of new immunotherapy strategies and biomarkers.
