Reports indicate that schools are facing challenges in providing assistive technology, with barriers hindering its full implementation. The issue of access to assistive technology is not limited to schools, as people with disabilities in various regions, including urban districts in Ghana and a hospital in North India, also face difficulties. Meanwhile, some countries, such as Ireland, are making efforts to strengthen equitable access to assistive technology.
