A therapy aimed at making cells young again has been trialled in a person, marking a world-first. The treatment, which involves reprogramming old human cells, has been administered to a patient, although it is considered high-risk. The outcome of this trial is not yet clear, as some reports indicate the treatment is still in the process of being tested in humans.
