A USV, or uncrewed surface vessel, has been airdropped from an aircraft in what is reported to be a world's first. The airdrop was accomplished by Kraken and Capewell, with some reports indicating involvement from the Royal Navy and a UK-US team. The event reportedly involved a military transport aircraft, possibly an A400M, and took place over the North Sea.
