The Watertown school board has defended its decision to remove a song tied to LGBTQ+ history from a spring concert. The song, reportedly "A Mother of A Revolution!", was initially considered for removal due to its LGBTQ+ history ties, and the board ultimately voted to pull it from the concert. The composer of the song did, however, conduct the piece in Watertown at some point.
