A significant number of us parents are declining vaccine recommendations, with about one in six rejecting them. This trend of vaccine hesitancy appears to be contributing to a decline in vaccination rates and a resurgence of certain diseases. Additionally, some parents are also refusing other routine preventive care for newborns, including vitamin k shots, which can have serious health consequences.
