A 300-million-year-old fossil, previously thought to be an octopus, is trending after its true identity was questioned. The fossil, which was considered the world's oldest octopus for decades, has been found to not be an octopus after all. However, there is some confusion, as one report suggests the discovery is related to a kraken-like creature from a different time period, 84 million years ago.
