Health inequalities are a concern being addressed by various organizations and regions. Some areas, such as the Liverpool City Region, are taking steps to strengthen action on health inequalities, while others, like the US and South Korea, continue to experience income-based health disparities. Efforts to understand and combat health inequalities are also being discussed and studied globally, including in Africa and through large-scale research projects.
