A massive fire in a four-storey residential building in East Delhi's Vivek Vihar has killed nine people, with the cause of the fire still uncertain, possibly due to a short circuit, ac blast, or other factors. The fire is reported to have blocked exits, with locked doors and iron grilles hindering escape, and among those killed was a toddler. The incident has resulted in the loss of lives from multiple families, with some reports indicating that five members of one family were among the dead.
