Steakhouse syndrome refers to a condition where food becomes stuck in the throat, also known as food bolus impaction. The condition may be related to various factors, including eating certain foods or not wearing dentures, and can be associated with underlying conditions such as eosinophilic esophagitis. Attempts to dislodge the stuck food, such as drinking cola, may not be effective, and the condition can have serious implications, including potential gastrointestinal bleeding.
