Abandoned cars have blocked Winnats Pass in the Peak District near Castleton. The pass was closed for a time, but has since reopened. Reports also indicate that illegally parked cars in the area have caused traffic problems and hindered rescue and road maintenance efforts, although it is unclear if these incidents are related to the pass closure.
