A necropsy has revealed that Winter, the dolphin from "Dolphin Tale", died from twisted intestines. The condition is also referred to as intestinal torsion and was reportedly inoperable. Plans are being made to honor Winter's memory at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, where she was a resident.
