A dual glucose-ketone monitor has received clearance in europe. The device, which can track both glucose and ketone levels, is intended for people with diabetes and may help flag the risk of diabetic ketoacidosis. The clearance was granted to abbott, which will reportedly work with minimed to bring the technology to market.
