Research on colorectal cancer liver metastases has yielded various findings, including the growth pattern phenotype not being dependent on genotype. Studies have also explored the role of the liver in metastasis, tumor vascularization, and immunotherapy resistance in metastatic colorectal cancer with liver metastases. The growth patterns of liver metastases are being investigated through different approaches, including radiomics, radiogenomics, and histopathological analysis.
