Research is exploring the roles of various cells and factors in the tumor microenvironment, including dendritic cells, to better understand their potential in targeted immunotherapy. The emerging roles of different signaling pathways, cells, and molecules, such as notch signaling, midkine, and ccl17, are being investigated in relation to cancer and immune response.
