Bezymianny volcano in Kamchatka is reported to have undergone a process of rebirth and evolution following a sector collapse in 1956. The volcano has been observed to have almost completely regrown since the collapse. Scientists have been studying the volcano's evolution, although it is unclear if the research is limited to Bezymianny or if other volcanoes are also being examined for similar patterns.
