Currently, a hurricane named Erin is bringing big waves and flooding to parts of the US, with areas such as the Outer Banks and Northeast experiencing flooding and beach closures. Additionally, a separate powerful winter storm, known as a bomb cyclone, is expected to impact the US Southeast and potentially threaten the Northeast.
