Some states appear to have identified a potential solution to their housing issues. California, in particular, is seeing various proposals and strategies emerge, including from gubernatorial candidates, to address homelessness and the housing crisis. The effectiveness of these approaches, however, remains to be seen, with some reports suggesting that the crisis persists and that spending on homelessness may even be declining in California.
