Residents of Thorpeness have received new rock sea defenses worth £270,000. However, the effectiveness of these defenses is uncertain, with some homes still considered at risk and additional measures being considered, including the possible removal of rocks at a cost of £500. Further protection measures, potentially costing £300,000, are also being planned to address the eroding coastline.
