A tiny blue octopus, described as being about the size of a golf ball, has been discovered near the Galápagos Islands. The octopus is small enough to fit in the palm of a hand and was found at a depth of nearly 6,000 feet. The discovery has been confirmed by scientists, who have identified it as a new species.
