Research is being conducted on the mental health of older adults, particularly those with cancer, with a focus on treating loneliness. Studies are examining the relationship between external support, psychological resilience, and quality of life in elderly cancer patients. Efforts are also being made to address social isolation in oncology patients and to provide support through intergenerational events and other programs.
