Tucson is experiencing record-setting temperatures, with the city possibly seeing its earliest 100° day on record. The extreme heat is not limited to Tucson, as over a dozen states have set record-high temperatures and more than 50 million people in the southwest are on alert for dangerous heat. The heat wave is also expected to affect other parts of the region, including southern Arizona and neighboring states.
