Typhoon Ragasa has made landfall in southern China, after affecting Taiwan where it is reported to have killed at least 14 to 17 people. The typhoon also had an impact on the Philippines, and has caused flooding in Hong Kong. Reports vary on the number of fatalities and the typhoon's path, but it is confirmed to have prompted the evacuation of nearly 2 million people in China.
