AlerisLife, the parent company of Five Star Senior Living, is selling all its assets and winding down its business. The company's 116 communities are being transitioned to new operators, with the process expected to be completed by the end of the year. Diversified Healthcare Trust has received payment from AlerisLife as part of the wind-down process and has named new managers for the communities.
