A US food giant has struck a $29 billion deal for a catering supplier. The target of the deal is reported to be either Restaurant Depot or Jetro Restaurant Depot. The acquisition has been made by Sysco, although there are also reports of a separate deal involving Unilever and McCormick to create a $65 billion food giant.
