Ukraine has requested air defense systems from its allies after a Russian barrage on Kyiv resulted in significant casualties. The country has appealed to numerous allies, reportedly nearly 40, for assistance, including patriot interceptors and missiles. Meanwhile, there are also reports of Ukraine offering or being asked to provide drone protection support to countries in the Middle East.
