Upadacitinib has met all primary and ranked secondary endpoints in a phase 3 study for rheumatoid arthritis, with results also showing superiority over adalimumab. The treatment has also shown positive results in other conditions, including ulcerative colitis and non-segmental vitiligo. However, there is some uncertainty regarding its comparison to dupilumab, with conflicting reports on its performance in head-to-head studies.
