A landslip in Ventnor has left a house just 10ft from the cliff edge. The area is being monitored for cracks and movement, and a nearby road closure has been partially lifted to allow walkers to pass. The landslip has also had other effects on the local area, including the survival of a notable landmark, the Isle of Wight Wishing Seat.
