Verizon has announced that customers affected by a recent outage will receive an account credit. The amount of the credit is reported to be $20 by some outlets, and it is said to be available to a large number of customers, possibly as many as 1.5 million. The cause of the outage, which lasted for around 10 hours, remains unclear.
