Zack Snyder has revealed his plans for a Man of Steel sequel, which would have introduced the villain Brainiac. The project appears to have been scrapped, but details of the planned plot and concept have been disclosed. Snyder's plans for the film were part of a larger vision for a Superman trilogy starring Henry Cavill.
