mRNA vaccines, initially developed for pandemic use, are being explored for their potential in personalized oncology therapeutics. Research into mRNA cancer vaccines has shown promising signs, with some studies indicating a boosted response to cancer immunotherapy and reduced risk of cancer returning. The development of personalized mRNA cancer vaccines, including one for melanoma and another called NeoOncovac, may represent a new paradigm in cancer treatment.
