A botnet, reportedly linked to a publicly-traded israeli firm, has been taken down by the fbi and google. The botnet, known as netnut or popa, is said to have involved around 2 million home devices, including smart tvs. The extent of the botnet's activities and the nature of its connection to the israeli firm are not entirely clear.
