Research has been conducted on the 3D shear-wave velocity structure of the crust and upper mantle in various regions. Studies have focused on areas such as the Himalaya and Tibet, as well as other locations including the NE Tibetan Plateau, northern Algeria, northeast China, the Tyrrhenian basin, and southern Africa. The findings of these studies may have implications for understanding seismic hazards, tectonic structure, and geological processes in these regions.
