A 3D shear wave velocity model has been created for the crust and uppermost mantle beneath the Tyrrhenian basin and margins. Similar models have been developed for other regions, including the northern Cascadia subduction zone, central Makran, India, Himalaya, Tibet, Myanmar, northeast China, the eastern United States, and the westernmost Mediterranean. These models provide insights into the structure of the crust and upper mantle in various parts of the world.
