Wetland classification is being studied and mapped through various methods, including national coastal mapping and the use of deep learning models. Research is being conducted on different types of wetlands, such as those found in the Yellow River Delta and in Bangladesh. The classification and monitoring of wetlands is also being explored through the use of technologies like UAV hyperspectral and LiDAR data, as well as satellite imagery from platforms like Google Earth Engine.
