A farm in southern China, reportedly a breeding farm, was flooded due to typhoon Maysak, resulting in the escape of a large number of snakes, estimated to be around 900. The escaped snakes include venomous species, such as cobras. The flooding has unleashed the snakes into a nearby village, affecting local residents.
