Research suggests that targeting specific protein regions may offer a new approach to treating medulloblastoma, a type of pediatric brain tumor. The collapse of transcriptional networks in group 3 medulloblastoma under certain inhibition has been observed. The relationship between this phenomenon and the underlying biology of the tumor, including histone modifications and cellular drivers, is being explored.
