Research is being conducted on the use of fdg pet biomarkers to predict survival in patients with metastatic melanoma before they undergo anti-pd1 immunotherapy. Other studies are exploring similar biomarkers for different types of cancer, including lung, breast, and prostate cancer. The role of various biomarkers and imaging techniques, such as pet/ct and psma-pet, in predicting treatment outcomes is being investigated across multiple cancer types.
