Researchers have developed highly stretchable and conformal bioinspired kirigami structural epidermal electrodes for electrocardiogram (ecg) recording during daily activities. The development of these electrodes is part of a broader effort to advance wearable technology and on-skin electrodes for electrophysiological monitoring and human-machine interfaces. Various studies and techniques, including bioinspired interfacial engineering and self-template manufacturing, are being explored to create high-performance, flexible, and noninvasive electrodes for continuous health monitoring.
