Inhaled treprostinil has been reported to improve lung function in individuals with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (ipf). The improvement was observed in the results of a phase 3 trial, with some outlets describing the findings as overwhelmingly positive. The results have prompted plans for an fda submission, although some reports also mention mixed data related to asthma treatment.
