Research is exploring the concept of inherited genome instability, which may be linked to various types of cancer, including breast, pediatric, and prostate cancer, as well as other rare genetic diseases. Studies are investigating the role of genetic factors, such as inherited structural variants and dna damage repair genes, in contributing to genomic instability. The relationship between inherited genome instability and cancer is being examined in different contexts, including tumor microenvironment and multiple myeloma.
