Research on glioblastoma is exploring new perspectives and therapies, including the role of long non-coding RNAs, nanoparticle-based delivery of proteasome inhibitors, and immunotherapy. Various approaches are being investigated to overcome treatment resistance and radioresistance, such as harnessing ferroptosis and targeting the circadian clock. New models, including tumor organoid-immune co-culture models, are also being developed to better understand tumor immunity and develop innovative therapies.
