A new species of deep-sea blue octopus has been identified near the Galápagos Islands. The octopus is described as tiny, with some reports suggesting it is small enough to fit in the palm of a person's hand or comparing its size to a golf ball. It was found at a depth of nearly 6,000 feet beneath the surface.
