Research on ovarian cancer has implicated six immune cell phenotypes in the origins of clear cell ovarian cancer. Studies are also exploring the role of immune cells and the tumor microenvironment in ovarian cancer, including the use of immunotherapy and potential biomarkers for treatment decisions. The relationship between immune cells and ovarian cancer is being investigated through various approaches, including mouse models, single-cell transcriptomics, and clinical trials.
