Research suggests that paeoniflorin may inhibit angiogenesis in multiple myeloma by decreasing the MEF2A level and downregulating the expression of lncRNA MALAT1 within exosomes. Other studies have explored the role of various compounds and mechanisms in modulating angiogenesis and tumor growth in different cancer models. The relationship between these findings and the potential therapeutic applications of paeoniflorin and other compounds in cancer treatment is still being investigated.
