Rivian has introduced an ai assistant, referred to as "hey rivian", which allows for full vehicle control. The assistant is being rolled out as part of a software update, although the timing of the rollout may be uncertain, with some reports indicating it is already available and others suggesting it is still pending internal testing. The assistant is expected to be available to owners of certain rivian vehicles, possibly including gen 1 and gen 2 models with connect+ and r1 vehicles.
